This program tests the response time of web servers by repeatedly submitting an HTTP request. Runs on Win32 only.

Instructions:

Type the URL in the URL box and click Go! A status message will appear in the lower left-hand corner of the form. If there is trouble connecting, or if you wish to stop the request processing, then hit Stop. If you wish to change the length of the test, then enter the number of seconds that you would like to test for in the Interval textbox.

Results

The results are displayed in a messagebox after the requests are processed.

This test does not do secondary requests, such as getting the images in the <IMG> tags, and etc. The results could be affected by a number of things, such as the speed of the computer running this application, network speed, modem speed, server speed, etc.
